Only scanned this a few weeks ago and wanted to come back to it for a second look - glad i did - thanks John the way you link that sense of "grasping" by the apostles with our indie context is really insightful.

Glad to see your blogging again too. you were missed.

Praise the Lord. I just finished reading “The Sweet Problem of Inclusiveness.” Thank you. I am a lifelong (85+ years) Seventh-day Adventist, graduate of the Seminary (1952) when it was in Washington. I am now minister of a United Church of Christ congregation in a Detroit suburb, active in interdenominational and interfaith ministry. If you are ever in the Detroit area, I should like very much to meet you. Where do you live now?

Hi there,
Has Fr Chris completed his translation of the Mariavite People's Mass yet? I couldn't make the e-mail facility on his blog work. The photos in Professor Peterkiewicz' book are truly moving and I would love to have the text of the Mass.
Best Wishes,
Paul Kitchenham, UK

I like this idea.... When I read this I realized that for a while now I have perceived the elevated host as the sun (and the sun as the Son). But in thinking about Mario's words I realized that I was actually thinking of the sun as the center and parent of the rest of our solar system, and by extension, as being symbolic of all physical manifestation. So...the host is to me symbolic of spirit in substance, the divine manifesting as the physical world. "God/dess's body."

I am now more appreciative of the breadth of meaning that the host can embody. Thanks for posting this!

I had the priveledge of living with bishop Pruter for a couple of weeks before he passed, and all I can say is I wish I could have gotten to know him better, He left a lasting impression with not only me but my children as well, He will truly be missed. Rest in peace father Karl, we love you and miss you, and you will be in our hearts forever.
